Tiday Bingo & Nudge Nudge Bingo LaunchedWednesday, 21 August 2013 | Written by Rachel Collins
One could have described the online bingo space as crowded at the beginning of 2013, but this has not acted as a deterrent for many other sites popping up throughout the year. The market is continuing to grow in size and this is creating space for more websites to operate. Nudge Nudge Bingo and Tidy Bingo are two of the most recent brands to hit the cyber space and we will give some information on these in this article.
Nudge Nudge BingoOver the years there have a number of peculiarly-named sites being launched. Nudge Nudge Bingo is definitely one of them and the reason for this is that ‘Nudge’ does not have anything to do with bingo. The term nudge comes from classic fruit machines, in which players can ‘nudge’ the reels to help them get a winning combination. However, one of the ideas behind naming a brand is that is stirs conversation and discussion, and Nudge Nudge Bingo certainly does that. It was little surprise to find that this new website was created by Beast Gaming.
Beast Gaming has not set a very good reputation for themselves and all of their sites have a lot of close similarities. For this reason, it seems that if you don’t like one, you probably won’t like the others. Their tagline is ‘Add a bit of sauce to your bingo’, but it would be surprising if there is any substance behind the claims.
When you land on the site, you’ll notice the designs scattered with some slightly controversial postcards. There is a selection of other brands launched using the Beast Gaming software, all of which are awfully branded, such as Braveheart Bingo and Bingo Northern Ireland. To further prove this point, they have two sites awaiting launch, named Skinny Bingo and Drag Queen Bingo.
Tidy BingoThis site has not yet officially launched, but it created by Nickie Shute, a bingo writer who has over nine years’ experience in the industry. The site is expected to be launched soon and we are all keen to see what Shute has up her sleeve.
Nickie began her bingo journey as a Think Bingo player before making her way to be in charge or the 15 Network, under which Tidy Bingo is launching. As well as a writer, she has worked as a bingo chat host and between all of her roles, she has developed a comprehensive knowledge of the online bingo world.
David Lloyd, who is the owner of another bingo portal, also owns the new site. He has a similar level of experience, having previously been a bingo caller. The combination of experience between the co-owners is a threatening force for other bingo brands. This could prove very successful for Tidy Bingo and the 15 Network alike.
Transparency appears to be one of the key focuses from what we can tell about Tidy Bingo at the moment. From an early glance, it seems as though this could be one to watch later in 2013.
